First published as two books: the world encyclopaedia of bread and bread making and the ultimate bread machine cookbook, this compendium is simply a complete resource about bread.

This is a beautifully presented book. The first part covers the history of bread making, bread making techniques, tools and breads from around the world. It is generously illustrated with colour photographs complementing the text. The recipe section is grouped into the regions of the world. Each recipe has colour photographs illustrating the stages and the final product. There are tips and suggestions dotted throughout. The final section of the book contains a myriad of recipes to use with a bread machine.

Overall, This is a lovely book simply to read and enjoy. For anyone remotely interested in making bread it is a treasure trove!

Highly recommended
