1. Where do we deliver?

We deliver to all destinations within mainland UK (except for some parts of the Scottish Highlands¹).

2. Delivery Days

Delivery days are Tuesday or Friday

For a Tuesday delivery, we need your order by 11pm the previous Saturday

For a Friday delivery, we need your order by 11pm the previous Wednesday

We will email you with your delivery day according to the above timetable.

3. Order Requirement

Someone needs to be in to receive the order; you may prefer to have goods delivered to your work address.

4. Delivery, packing and packaging cost:

Orders over £50 = free (why not club together with friends?)

Purchases £30 to £50 = only £6.95 (we absorb the rest).

Packaging
We use as much recyclable packaging as practicable and use just enough to get your product to you in perfect condition.
We send the orders in cardboard boxes. We use new boxes to pack your items and then put this box in another box. Why do we use two boxes? Well, if you have ever watched luggage handlers throwing the cases around as they load the plane, you will understand that the outer box is needed to protect your purchase. Seriously, we have tried using just one box but the number of items arriving damaged has forced us to revert to our two box system.

We do recycle packing materials so your order may arrive in an outer box that has been reused. The inside box in which your order is packed, however, is a brand new box.

We use filler around your goods which appears to be polystyrene chips but is actually made from biodegradable potato starch. We also use biodegradable bubble wrap to wrap around glass jars. Both of these can quite safely be put on your compost heap.

Picking and shipping
We work on a two day system that allows you to have the longest shelf life. All our fresh goods are vacuum packed and have at least 7 days shelf life from customer receipt. Goods are delivered to us one day, picked, packed and shipped that same day and delivered to you the following day. We pack the parcels using chiller packs for fresh goods.

The delivery is made within two days of dispatch for orders to postcodes AB30, AB31, AB33, AB34, AB35, AB36, AB37, AB38, AB41, AB43, AB44, AB45, AB51, AB52, AB53, AB54, AB55, AB56, AB63, DD8, DD9, DD10, FK8, FK17, FK18, FK19, FK20, FK21, PH10, PH11, PH13, PH14 and TD15.

Re-use the chiller packs!
The chiller packs can be used to keep your drinks cool in your cool box or lunchbox. If they have deflated, simply soak in cold water for about 10 minutes and put back in the freezer.

Dietary information
Following customer requests, we provide dietary information for each product and also identify items that are gluten free. If you have any other requirements, please let us know.

Wednesday and Thursday delivery
If you prefer a different day, or a Tuesday and Friday in the following weeks, please state the day you want (Tues, Wed, Thurs or Fri) in the section ‘customer notes’ as you check out and we will do our best to accommodate you. This won’t make any difference to the shelf life of the goods. We are unable to deliver on Saturday, Sunday or Mondays.

Delivery to Scotland
* We cannot deliver to postcodes in the Scottish Highlands that start with: HS, IV, KA27, KA28, KW, PA, PH17 to PH50 and ZE.
